Man In Critical Condition Following Acid Attack
A man is in a critical condition in hospital after acid was thrown in his face in Cornwall.
The attack happened in Carrine Road, Truro, on Tuesday 9 December.
He is currently being treated at Treliske Hospital.
Police are appealing to speak to the driver of a red Peugeot van seen in Carrine Road around the time of the incident.
Detective Inspector Sharon Donald, from Truro CID, said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who saw any unusual people or vehicles in the area yesterday, in particular a red van.
"If you are the driver of the red Peugeot van seen in the area, please get in touch with police so we can eliminate you from our enquiries."

The Home Secretary is expected to outline a Green Paper on policing which aims to "cut red tape and paperwork". Jacqui Smith is also reported to have offered the job of investigating police bureaucracy to Jan Berry, the former head of the Police Federation. It is thought that the job offer means there is no bad blood between the two women.

Police Van Death Probe
An investigation has launched into the death of a pedestrian who was hit by a marked police van. Kenneth Thiel-Furber, 26, of Whitchurch died in the early hours of Saturday. He was hit by a Vauxhall Vivaro van on the A41 by the Wrexham Road roundabout. He was confirmed dead at the scene.
