Fights Break Out At 'Black Friday' Sales
Police have been called to a number supermarkets across the UK after a number of incidents occurred at 'Black Friday' sales.
Police in Greater Manchester appealed for calm after they had to attend seven Tesco supermarkets. Three men were arrested and a woman was injured after being hit by a falling television.
Police were also called to various stores in London, Cardiff, Glasgow and Dundee.
'Black Friday' originated in the US and is now one of the biggest shopping days in the UK.
Boy Attacked In Car Park
Sussex Police have launched an appeal after a teenage boy was attacked in a car park in St Leonards.
The 16-year-old was with two girls in the car park of Asda in Battle Road when he was assaulted by two boys.
It is understood the attack happened close to a trolley park, near the petrol station which is located towards the back of the car park, between 5pm and 5.15pm on Friday 14 November.
The victim was able to escape his attackers but suffered a split lip.
The first attacker was white, in his mid to late teens, of average build and about 5' 10" with short brown curly hair. He was wearing a beige coat and dark coloured jeans.
The second boy was white, in his mid teens, about 5ft and of slight build. He was wearing a grey tracksuit and a grey hooded top with the hood pulled up over his head.
A 17-year-old from St Leonards was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has since been released on bail.
Man Assaulted In Carlisle
A man has been seriously assaulted in Carlisle.
The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday 23 November.
At 3:15am, police were called to Outrageous, English Street, Carlisle.
A man, aged 22, had suffered serious injuries to his head and face during an alleged assault.
A man, aged 36 and also from Carlisle, was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed until 19 December.
Enquiries are continuing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.

Police Appeal For Witnesses After Boy, 9, Assaulted
Police in Daventry have appealed for witnesses to an incident in which a nine-year-old boy was assaulted while walking his dog. On Friday, 07 August, the boy was walking his dog on Kingsley Avenue between 15:30 and 15:45. The dog is said to have barked at a man as he passed the boy.

Youths Quizzed Over Stabbing
Youths are being being questioned over the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy. Officers found the injured boy when they were called to reports of a disturbance at Home Park Recreation Ground, in Sydenham, at 6pm yesterday. The teenager was pronounced dead soon after he arrived at hospital.

A woman has been indecently assaulted in an attack in Glasgow which police have described as "horrific". The incident happened at the woman's flat in Sauchiehall Street, opposite the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, around 5pm on Saturday. The woman was assaulted as she opened her front door.
