Surrey Murder Suspect Arrested

Police have arrested 38-year-old Viktoras Bruzas on suspicion of murdering a couple in Surrey.

The bodies of Patrick and Gillian Kettyle were found at their home in Fetcham in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Police had issued an appeal for help in tracing Mr Bruzas in connection with the murders, and had urged the public not to approach him.

Bruzas was arrested at about 18:00 on Thursday when police stopped a car driving through the village of Oxshott, in Surrey.

Police thanked the public for their help in finding Mr Bruzas.

Police Launch Manhunt Following Double Murder In Surrey
A manhunt has been launched by police after a man and woman were found stabbed to death in Surrey. The bodies were discovered at a property in Fetcham at around 12.30am. Detectives are searching for Viktoras Bruzas, 38, over the murders. The victims, who have not been named, are believed to have been in their 50s.

Deepcut investigation criticised in new report
The Surrey Police investigation into the deaths of recruits at the Deepcut army barracks has been criticised by another police force. Devon and Cornwall Police’s report into the deaths for four recruits at the barracks concluded that Surrey Police narrowed the focus of the inquiry by concentrating too much on suicide as the most likely outcome.
