Police Launch Manhunt Following Double Murder In Surrey

A manhunt has been launched by police after a man and woman were found stabbed to death in Surrey.

The bodies were discovered at a property in Fetcham at around 12.30am.

Detectives are searching for Viktoras Bruzas, 38, over the murders.

The victims, who have not been named, are believed to have been in their 50s.

A man in his 30s has been arrested in Walton-on-Thames on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Mark Preston, said: "This is a tragic incident where two people have lost their lives and our thoughts are with their family at this extremely difficult time.

"We are still in the very early stages of the investigation but we need to trace Viktoras Bruzas as a matter of urgency. I would urge members of the public not to approach him but to call Surrey Police immediately if they know his whereabouts. A large number of officers from Surrey and Sussex are working on locating Mr Bruzas.

"Sometimes, for whatever reason, people may wish to provide information anonymously and this can be done so through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

Surrey Murder Suspect Arrested
Police have arrested 38-year-old Viktoras Bruzas on suspicion of murdering a couple in Surrey. The bodies of Patrick and Gillian Kettyle were found at their home in Fetcham in the early hours of Thursday morning. Police had issued an appeal for help in tracing Mr Bruzas in connection with the murders, and had urged the public not to approach him.

New Appeal Issued Over Ola Raji Murder
Police have issued a new appeal for information in the murder of Ola Raji on Tuesday, 21 April 2015. The 21-year-old was found in Surrey Grove, Peckham at 22:30, by police responding to reports of gunshots. Mr Raji had been stabbed and shot. He died shortly after arriving at hospital.
