Cairngorms Runner Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man missing in the Cairngorms has been found "safe and well", Police Scotland announced.
Kevin Steenson, from Dumfries, was reported missing at about 17:00 on Tuesday.
Mr Steenson had been with a party of six runners, who had set off from the Sugarbowl, near Loch Morlich. However, he found himself separated from the group with no torch, map, compass or food.
Police Scotland were joined by the Cairngorms Mountain Rescue Team and the RAF to search for Mr Steenson.
The runner was wearing shorts and a vest when he was located at about 22:20 last night. Police said temperatures had dropped to sub zero.

Human Remains Found During Search For Missing Woman
Police Scotland have confirmed that human remains have been found during the search for missing 19-year-old Hazel North. A search had been ongoing for Ms North, who was from Dunfermline and has been missing since 04 March. Police have not yet been confirmed if the remains found in Dean Park are those of Ms North.

Police Investigating If Woman Was Trying To Save Dog When She Was Hit By Train
British Transport Police investigating the death of a woman have said that she may have been trying to save a dog when she was hit by a train. The 22-year-old woman was struck by a train close to Ainsdale station near Southport, Merseyside at about 15:00 on Wednesday. Transport police said a dog was also found dead at the scene.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Five Missing Hill-Walkers Found
Police have safely located five of the missing six hill walkers who had not been seen since yesterday. Once contact had been made with the group it was established that one person was still outstanding from the party of six. The five were located on a hill near Carn Tarsuinn in the Cairngorms by Braemar Mountain Rescue Team at around 12:10pm today.
