Doctor Jailed For Illicit Footage Of Co-Workers And Public
A world-renowned hearing doctor has been sentenced to five years in jail and three on licence after he admitted secretly filming work colleagues and members of the public.
62-year-old Dr Lam Hoe Yeoh, used a "network of devices" to capture footage of people – police said small cameras were fixed into communal toilets, while Dr Yeoh also used camera watches to capture footage on trains.
All this footage was collected on a hard drive and Dr Yeoh would cut together compilations of footage. It is understood a "huge volume" of files were found at his home and on his work computer.
Dr Yeoh was caught after a camera he had fixed in a toilet at the privately run St Anthony's hospital in North Cheam, south London, came loose and was spotted by staff. The camera was found to have captured footage of Dr Yeoh himself putting the camera in place.
Yeoh pleaded guilty to seven counts of voyeurism, six counts of making an indecent photograph of a child, and one of possessing extreme pornography.
