Teenager Critical After Liverpool Bus Accident

A fifteen-year-old boy is in a critical condition in Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool after being hit by a bus in the city on Tuesday night.

Police said the teenager suffered serious head injuries when he was hit by a bus at about 19:55 on Tuesday night.

He is understood to have undergone surgery at the hospital, where his condition is described as critical.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to contact them.

Birthday Teen Among School Bus Victims
One of two teenagers who died when a school bus crashed into a car in Cumbria was celebrating her 16th birthday. She was one of the two teen victims who have today been named by police as Kieron Goulding, 15, and Chloe Walker, 16. The male driver of a Honda Civic car, who has not yet been formally identified, was also killed.

Girl 'critical' after air rifle shooting

Two Boys Killed In Leeds Car Crash Named
Two boys who were killed in a car they were travelling in have been named. Rhys Baker, 13, and George Wharton, 14, died on the A62 Geldered Road, in Morley, Leeds, on Saturday afternoon. Kameron Walters, 14, and Joshua Van Even, 15, who were also in the car are in a critical condition in hospital.
