Police Appeal To West London Siblings Missing In Egypt

Police have appealed for help in tracing a 16-year-old girl and her 23-year-old brother, thought to be missing in Egypt.

It is understood that Beatrice Anita Philips, who has bipolar disorder, was taken by her brother Moses, without their mother's permission.

Police say that the siblings flew from Heathrow on 24 April.

They have appealed for the brother and sister to make contact with them, or relatives in the UK.

Beatrice's disappearance is being treated as a missing person's case.

Police Investigate Sheep Theft

An investigation has been launched after one hundred sheep were stolen from fields surrounding a Scottish farm.

The animals are said to be worth around £10,000 and are thought to have been taken between 26 September and 3 October.

Police say that the theft was reported to them this week and they are appealing to anyone with any information about the theft, or anyone offered sheep for sale, to contact them.

Welsh Ebola Case To Be Transferred To London

Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones has confirmed that any suspected case of Ebola in Wales will be transferred to London's Royal Free Hospital.

Saying that the risk of an outbreak in Wales is "very low", Mr Jones added that NHS Wales staff have been receiving training and Public Health Wales has been making preparations as a precaution.

Former police officers arrested in Lynette White murder case
Five retired police officers have been arrested as part of an investigation into the murder of a Cardiff prostitute 17 years ago, South Wales police have confirmed. Twenty-year-old Lynette White was found murdered in a flat in the Butetown area of Cardiff on Valentine’s Day, 1988.

Police Appeal For Witnesses Following RTC In Wales
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left with serious injuries following a road traffic collision (RTC) in Wales. The incident happened yesterday, 02 November on the A525 Ruthin Road, Wrexham. A green Ford Fiesta collided with a male pedestrian in his 40's shortly after 6:30pm near the Brymbo Link Road.

Glasgow Sex Assault Appeal
Detectives in Glasgow are continuing enquiries after a woman was indecently assaulted on Saturday in the Govan area. The 37-year-old woman was in a car park at Water Row, just off Govan Road, at around 8.30pm when she noticed a man lying on the ground.

Body Of Newborn Baby Found In Cardiff River
Police in Cardiff have reportedly recovered the body of a newborn baby from the River Taff. It is understood that South Wales Police were called to the scene at about 18:00 on Tuesday. The scene has been sealed and an investigation is underway. Police have appealed for information.
