Police To Investigate Over 100 Missing Cats
Suffolk Police are to meet with a residents group after it was discovered that more than 100 cats have gone missing in the Ipswich area.
A Facebook group established that 108 people in the town had had a pet cat go missing, with the group concerned that they are being taken to be used for baiting in dog fights.
Police have said that they are aware of the issue and that officers will be looking into it to establish if any criminal offence has taken place.
Driver Reported For Travelling At 19mph On M1
A van driver has been reported for driving without due care after he was caught driving at 19mph on the M1 in Hertfordshire.
The van was spotted by road traffic officers near junction 8 at about 07:00 on Wednesday morning.
Police said that travelling at such a slow speed on a motorway "isn't acceptable".
Searches For Missing Woman To Be Scaled Back
Police Scotland are to scale back the search operation for 40-year-old Kelli Ferris, an Aberdeen woman who has been missing for more than a month.
Police say that a dedicate team of officers would continue to investigate her disappearance, but physical searches would be scaled back.
Ms Ferris has been missing since 10 September.

The team of four will be led by Chief Constable of Hampshire - and Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) international portfolio holder - Paul Kernaghan.
