Voting Underway In Essex And Gtr Manchester By-Elections
Voting is underway in by-elections in Clacton, Essex, and Heywood and Middleton, Greater Manchester.
Five candidates are contesting the Gtr Manchester seat of Labour's Jim Dobbin, who died earlier this year.
Eight candidates are contesting the Clacton seat, vacated by MP Douglas Carswell when he defected from the Conservative Party to UKIP.
The polls will remain open until 22:00 on Thursday night, with the results due on Friday morning.

'Legal Highs' Seized Across Greater Manchester
Greater Manchester Police have carried out a force-wide operation targeting so-called 'legal highs', seizing quantities of nitrous oxide canisters, synthetic cannabinoids, liquid gold poppers and sachets of gocaine. The day of action which targeted new psychoactive substances was the first of its kind for Greater Manchester Police.
