Man Goes Missing From Hospital
A man has gone missing from Glangwili Hospital in Carmathen, Wales.
It is understood 72-year-old Ivor Evans left the hospital at around 7.45pm on Tuesday.
Mr Evans is described as a white male, in his 70s, with a goatee and tattoos on his arms. He was last seen wearing a white short sleeved shirt and dark trousers and had a white dressing on his head.
His family have said they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
In a statement, Sergeant Dominic Jones, Dyfed Powys Police, said: "Mr Evans is suffering from dementia and diabetes and may appear confused. We need to find him as soon as possible.
"There has been a confirmed sighting at 1am this morning in the Llanarthne area and I would appeal to residents in the area to check their sheds and outbuildings."
Anyone who has seen Mr Evans in the last 12 hours is asked to contact police immediately on 101.

Convicted criminal sought after fleeing hospital
A convicted criminal who escaped from a hospital in Greater Manchester is being sought by police. Christopher McDonagh, 19, from Cheetham Hill, was serving a life sentence for attempted murder at a secure unit at Prestwich Hospital when he was taken to Hope Hospital Accident and Emergency to receive treatment to a wound on his arm.

The 'green light' has been given for 15 new NHS hospital developments in a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) deal worth more than £4 billion, it has been announced today. Today's announcement will bring investment in new NHS hospitals to more than £16 billion since 1997, the health department said.

Police in Havering are appealing for the public's assistance in tracing a missing man. Shane Gooding, 29, was admitted to Queens Hospital, Romford on Thursday, 14th November after attempting to self harm. He was last seen at the hospital at approximately 22:00hrs on Friday, 15 November when he went outside for a cigarette.
