UK To 'Play Its Part' In Fight Against IS
The UK is ready to "play its part" in the fight against Islamic State (IS), David Cameron has said.
The Prime Minister was speaking in New York following a meeting at the UN, where he described the militant Islamic group as an "evil against which the whole world must unite".
Mr Cameron was at the UN to meet with other leaders to discuss how Britain could help in confronting IS. The United States and five Middle East countries are currently carrying out bombing campaigns against the militants.
The UK cabinet is expected to discuss a plan for air strikes against IS, with a vote planned for Friday.

Prime Minister Backs No-Fly Zone
The Prime Minister is continuing to defend the employment of a no-fly zone over Libya. The move was first raised on Monday after David Cameron instructed military chiefs to plan for a no-fly zone. However Labour leader Ed Miliband said a number of foreign governments had "distanced themselves" from the operation.

The High Court has ruled that a council's plan to re-design its library services is "legally flawed". According to a report by the BBC, campaigners have won a High Court decision against Lincolnshire County Council over it's re-design plan to save £2m.

Clinton UK Visit Confirmed
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will discuss a wide range of issues during her visit to the UK and Ireland later this week. The United State's most powerful diplomat, and a former First Lady, will visit London, Belfast and Dublin as part of the trip. Mrs Clinton is expected to arrive in the UK on October 9 and travel to Moscow a week later.
