Taxi Drivers Stage Central London Protest
Taxi drivers in central London are staging a protest over competition in the capital.
It is understood the dispute surrounds a lack of regulation, including the use of apps such as Uber, which the drivers claim has been a "disaster" for trade.
The taxi drivers argue that apps such as Uber work out the cost of journeys in the same way a meter does, which legally only black cabs are allowed to use.
The protest has been described as "regrettable" by Transport for London.
