Police Confirm Helicopter Crash In East Yorkshire
Humberside Police have reported that a helicopter has crashed into the sea off the coast of East Yorkshire.
It is understood that a member of the public reported the crash at about 13:40 on Tuesday.
The crashed helicopter was found near the lighthouse in Flamborough, police have confirmed.
An investigation is underway into the crash.
The public is being urged to stay away from the area until further notice.

Two British tourists involved in NY helicopter crash
Two British tourists are believed to have been among the passengers on a helicopter, which plummeted into a river in New York yesterday. Karen and Gary Butler, from Chelmsford in Essex, are believed to have been on a sightseeing tour at the time of the crash, along with five other passengers.

Humberside Police Name Helicopter Crash Victims
Humberside Police have named the two men who died in a helicopter crash on Tuesday. Captain Brian Bridgman, 50, from Canterbury in Kent was piloting the aircraft, and John Kent, 50, from Romford in London was the passenger.

Two Confirmed Dead In East Yorkshire Helicopter Crash
It has been confirmed that two men died in a helicopter crash off the East Yorkshire coast on Tuesday afternoon. The Bell JetRanger crashed at about 13:40 yesterday near Selwick Bay, Flamborough. It is understood that the aircraft was on its way to refuel at Humberside Airport, during a flight from West Lothian to Nottinghamshire.

Police searching for a further eight passengers feared to be dead following a helicopter crash off the coast of Scotland have admitted they do not expect to find any survivors. The bodies of eight people killed when the Bond Super Puma plunged into the sea 14 miles off the Aberdeenshire coast on Wednesday afternoon, arrived in the port.
