Kate Middleton Pregnant With Second Child
The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William are expecting their second child, Kensington Palace has announced.
The news comes just one year and two months after she gave birth to Prince George.
The palace said the Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.
A statement said: "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news."
The Duchess is currently suffering from acute morning sickness and is being treated by medical practitioners at Kensington Palace.

First Official Duchess of Cambridge Painting Revealed
The first official painted portrait of The Duchess of Cambridge has gone on show to the public. The National Portrait Gallery's painting of its Patron was commissioned by the Gallery, and given by Sir Hugh Leggatt, in memory of Sir Denis Mahon, through the Art Fund.

Killer Motorcycle Gunman Sought
Detectives appealing for witnesses and information after a so-called 'ride-by murder' in Tottenham have released an image of the car (shown here) in which the victim was shot. Police were called just after 4pm last Friday (2nd October) to a report of shots being fired. They found that a man was targeted while driving west along The Roundway N17.

A dress rehearsal of a procession to Buckingham Palace took place in the early hours of this morning as preparations for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee hotted up. Beacons will be lit across the UK and street parties will be held, but the main celebrations are planned for London.
