'Unexplained Death' At Hospital Investigated
Surrey Police has confirmed it is at the scene of East Surrey Hospital following the "unexplained death" of a man at the premises.
Officers were called to the hospital on Canada Avenue, Redhill, just before 5pm on Tuesday (25 August). A man, aged in his 70s, was found to have collapsed in the car park.
He was admitted to the Accident and Emergency department but was pronounced dead a short time later.
An investigation is now underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding the death.
Anyone who was in the vicinity of the hospital car park area between 4.30pm and 5pm on Tuesday has been asked to contact police.

British Man Dies In Seychelles Shark Attack
A British man has been killed after being attacked by a shark during his honeymoon in the Seychelles. Ian Redmond, 30, from Lancashire, had been snorkelling off Anse Lazio beach in Praslin around 5pm local time on Tuesday, when the attack happened. He lost an arm and suffered severe injuries to his legs, hip and chest in the attack.
