Investigation Launched After Elderly Couple Found Shot Dead

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of an elderly couple shot dead at a house in Bosbury, near Ledbury.

Police responding to a call found the bodies of a couple, thought to be aged in their 70s, at a house in an isolated rural location.

It is understood that police suspect the couple died in a murder suicide or as a result of a suicide pact.

The identity of the victims is not yet been released. A post-mortem is due to take place today.

British Couple Found Dead In India
A British couple have been found dead in India, it has been reported. According to the BBC, the couple are said to be in their 20s and were found in a hotel room in Agra, India. A post-mortem investigation is to be carried out, but police believe the pair may have died of a drugs overdose. There are no suggestions of crime.

An elderly couple have been found dead at their home in the Greater Manchester area. Detectives were called to the home of Ken and Eileen Martin, aged 77 and 76, on Monday, where the bodies were discovered at their home on Broadway, Davyhulme at 6.05pm.

Elderly Couple Killed In House Fire
An elderly couple have died following a house fire in Stockton-on-Tees. The man and woman are believed to be 90 and 88-years old respectively. The fire was reported to police just after 5am on Thursday and the fire crews remained until shortly after 8.45am.

Couple Found Dead In House
A man and woman have been found dead in a house in Birmingham. The couple, believed to be aged in their 30s, were found in a bedroom on Miranda Close in Frankley at about 10:00am. They were pronounced dead at the scene and the deaths are being treated as unexplained.
