UK Unemployment At Six Year Low
New figures from the Office for National Statistics show that the UK unemployment rate fell to 6.4% in the three months to June, it's lowest since 2008.
The number of people unemployed now stands at 2.08 million, a fall of 132,000.
The figures also show that the number of people in work rose by 167,000 in the same period, and increase of 820,000 for the same period a year previous.

New figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show that unemployment reached 2.56 million in February, rising some 70,000 since December. The overall unemployment rate for the quarter was 7.9%. The figures also show that the number of Jobseeker’s Allowance claimants fell to 1.53 million, dropping by 7,000 last month.

New figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show that UK unemployment has risen to 2.52 million, with the unemployment rate now at 7.8%. Other figures show that in April the number of people claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance fell by 7,300. Bringing the total number of claimants to 1.52 million.
