Police Appeal Over Missing Brothers In Sunderland

Police in Sunderland have appealed for help in tracing three brothers who have gone missing from their foster home.

The three brothers – Remus, 15, Janko, 12, and David, 10 – failed to return their their foster home as expected on Monday evening.

The three, who use their foster parents surname of Matloch, are Polish but speak good English, police have said.

They are known to have family in Blyth and South Shields.

Police say that the brothers set off on a bike ride from The Oaks to Mowbray Park at 17:20 and had been due to return at 20:00.

It is understood that the brothers have not gone missing before.

Officers are appealing for the brothers to contact them and for anyone who recognises them or knows where they are to call the police.

Three Kayakers Found Dead Named
Three kayakers found dead in the River Tyne in Northumberland after they went missing were two brothers and their cousin. Police were alerted after brothers Darren Thorpe, 41, Mark Thorpe, 39, and their cousin Gavin Bradley, 36, all from South Shields, were reported missing at 11.00pm last Sunday when they failed to return home.

Man found dead following reports of shooting
Police are investigating shootings in south Wales which left a man dead and two men injured. Gwent Police said that they had been called to a report of a shooting in Usk View, Govilon, Abergavenny around 2:50pm on Sunday. Two men, believed to be brothers, aged 17 and 20, were found in the garden of a house.

Blockbuster Enters Administration For Second Time
Blockbuster has entered administration for a second time, owners of the DVD and games rental chain have announced. The chain collapsed in January, blaming a lose of business to online streaming and rental businesses. In March, the firm's 528 stores were sold to Gordon Brothers Europe, who today announced that it has again entered administration.
