London Skyscraper Goes Up For Sale

The Gherkin has been put up for sale and the London skyscraper is expected to attract offers of around £650m.

Sale of the tower, which was placed into receivership in April, is to handled jointly by Savills and Deloitte Real Estate.

It is understood that the building's sale is being advertised in specialist press and on a website for investors. Following a vetting a process it is expected that either a single buyer will be selected or a number of sealed bids will be accepted.
