Police Appeal For Hit-And-Run Cyclist To Come Forward
Sussex police have launched an appeal for help to find to male cyclists who crashed into a four-year-old girl, causing cuts and bruises to her face and body, before cycling away.
The child, named as Aaliyah Raj, was walking with her mother along a promenade in Eastbourne last Thursday, when two cyclists rode up from behind and collided with her. The promenade is a no bike zone.
The girls mother claims that the cyclist verbally abused her before leaving the scene.
Aaliyah needed hospital treatment for her injuries but was discharged later that same day.
The two men have been described as white and aged in their 20s.
Police have said they are giving the cyclist the opportunity to come forward, but said that CCTV footage of the men may be released if they did not.
