7/7 Memorial Damaged By Vandals

The memorial in Hyde Park to the victims of the 7/7 attacks has been deface with graffiti, on the eve of the anniversary.

Phrases were painted onto several of the pillars in red and black paint. Today marks nine years since the bombing attacks in London.

The damage was reported to police by a member of the public in the early hours of Monday morning.

Police say they are treating the graffiti a criminal damage and an investigation is underway.
