Colchester Murder: Police Appeal To Cyclists
Officers are continuing to investigate the the murder of Saudi Arabian student Nahid Almanea.
Detectives are appealing for two cyclists, seen using Salary Brook Trail on the day of her death, to come forward.
The man and woman were seen riding together coming from the direction of the University of Essex towards Greenstead.
The man is described as being olive skinned with dark hair. He was in his early 20s and looked tall and slim.
The woman is thought to be in her 20s with long dark hair. She was wearing what has been described as a flowing pattern tiered shirt.
Detective Chief Superintendent Steve Worron said: "People living and working in the local area are the key to helping us find whoever killed this bright, young woman who was a guest in our country. The answers lie in the local community and we will find whoever did this."

Arrests Made Over 2006 Double Murder

Double Murder Suspect Arrested
Following the arrest on Sunday morning of double murder suspect James Allen police have appealed for people to check on any friends and relatives who could have come into contact him. Detectives made the appeal after 36-year-old Allen was arrested early on Sunday after being spotted by an off-duty officer on his way to work in Leeds.

Peterborough Torso Identified By Police
Police investigating the discovery of a female torso in a suitcase at a property in Peterborough have identified the victim. The torso has been identified as Ramute Butkiene, a 42-year-old Lithuanian woman, who worked as an agency worker in the Peterborough area.

Teenagers Killed In Wakefield Double Murder
Police have revealed that the two females found dead in a flat in West Yorkshire were both teenagers and had been stabbed. The bodies of Samantha Sykes, 18, and Kimberly Frank, 17, were discovered in a flat in Barden Road, Eastmoor after police received a tip-off from another 19-year-old woman in Dover.

Woman Not Guilty By Reason Of Insanity For Murder Of Man And Child
A 36-year-old woman has been found not guilty by reason of insanity for the murder of a 47-year-old and a four-year-old child in Notting Hill in February this year. Shelley Christopher, of Daley Thompson House, Colville Square, has been sentenced to an indefinite hospital order after she was determined to have been insane at the time of the deaths.
