Ian Wright's Family Burgled At Knifepoint

Ian Wright's wife and children have been threatened at knifepoint by burglars at their London home.

The former England striker was working for ITV in Brazil reporting on the World Cup.

The-50-year-old is flying back home to meet his family.

The four armed thieves, described as black men aged between 18 and 25, with London accents, forced their way into Wright's family home in north-west London and held his wife and children before fleeing with a sum of cash, jewellery and personal possessions.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said they are investigating "an aggravated burglary at an address in north-west London after we were called at 9.20 pm last night".

'Crack Pipe' Film Shame For Amy
A daily newspaper has 'exposed' troubled singer Amy Winehouse by reporting on a video that has emerged which appears to show Winehouse smoking a cocaine 'crack' pipe. The Sun used stills of the film's footage in their newspaper article which said that the video has also been posted online.

The veteran politician and former cabinet minister Tony Benn, 88, has died. He passed away at his home in London surrounded by his family. His children Stephen, Hilary, Melissa and Joshua said: "It is with great sadness that we announce that our father Tony Benn died peacefully early this morning at his home in west London surrounded by his family.
