Labour Produce 'Five Bullet Points For Europe'
The Labour party has published five bullet point laying out their position on Europe, including making it a priority to tackle the cost-of-living crisis and to reform the EU " so it works better for Britain".
The bullet points are:
• The next Labour government's priority will be dealing with the cost-of-living crisis and the NHS, not getting out of the EU;
• We will reform the EU so it works better for Britain because we can do better than the status quo;
• We will introduce a new law to stop powers transferring to Brussels without the British people having a say;
• The law will guarantee that no power can be transferred from Britain to the EU without an in/out referendum;
• There are no proposals to transfer powers so Ed Miliband has said an in/out referendum will be possible, but is unlikely.

Chancellor Urged To Block RBS Bonuses
The Royal Bank of Scotland should be stopped from paying bonuses of up to double its bankers annual salary, Labour has said. The chancellor George Osborne has been urged to block an attempt by RBS to use an EU rule that would allow it to pay bonuses up to that limit if agreed by shareholders.

More than 447,000 people have come to Britain seeking work from the new countries in the European Union, the latest government figures have revealed. The Home Office figures showed that 427,095 workers had been approved to start jobs in the UK.
