Biker Gets Face Rebuilt Using 3D Print Technology
A man seriously injured in a motorbike accident has had his face rebuilt using 3D printing technology.
Stephen Power, 29, who spent four months in hospital, broke both arms, his right leg, both cheek bones, both eye sockets and his upper jaw in an accident in September 2012.
Mr Power's life has completely changed after surgeons scanned 3D images of his face to design guides to cut and position bones, as well as print titanium implants which were fitted to his face.
Mr Power said that he was self-conscious about his previous appearance and he have to wore sunglasses to hide his injuries.

The future of the face-to-face debt advice programme has been secured today with the Government announcing £27 million of funding for the next year. The Government wants to ensure that individuals facing financial difficulty can get valuable impartial advice early, rather than wait until their problems become much more difficult to resolve.

Following a raid on a house in North Tyneside, former England football player Paul Gascoigne has been arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs. Mr Gascoigne, 43, is currently being questioned by officers after spending the night in custody.
