Corrie Actor Takes A Break To Address 'Personal Issues'

Coronation Street actor Michael Le Vell is to take a break from the soap to get help for "personal issues", ITV confirmed.

Le Vell, who recently returned to filming after being cleared of child sex charges, is seeking professional help to get over his issues.

An ITV spokesperson said: "Coronation Street and Michael Le Vell have mutually agreed that he will take a break from the programme whilst he seeks professional help for personal issues."

Le Vell recently admitted to using cocaine during the trial.
