82-Year-Old Arrested Over Suspected Double Murder

An 82-year-old man is being held in connection with the fatal shooting of two women found in Farnham on Sunday.

Police report that the discovered the bodies of the women, one understood to be aged in her 40s and the other her 60s, off Crooksbury Road following reports of gunshots.

The women where found with fatal gunshot wounds.

It is understood that four dogs where also found with gunshot wounds

A police spokesperson say that the man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody.

It is believed that the three people knew each other.

A formal identification of the victims has not yet taken place.

Two Women Found Dead In Sheffield
The bodies of a mother and daughter have been found at a house in Hemsworth, in Sheffield. The discovery was made by police at an address on Ironside Road at 0740 BST. A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned by police. The area around the property has been sealed off.
