Woman In Critical Condition Arrested Over Death Of Child
Police in Bradford have arrested a woman on suspicion of murder after she was found unconscious in the backyard of a property in the city.
The woman, understood to be 36-years-old, was found along with her two-year-old daughter at the back of a property in Delamere Street on Tuesday morning. They had both suffered serious injuries.
The child died a short time after arriving at hospital. The woman remains in a critical condition.
A post-mortem examination found that the child died from injuries consistent with a fall.
Witnesses or anyone with information are urged to contact police.

Baby Death Mother Named
The British woman charged with causing the death of her newborn baby in a hotel room in Crete has been named. Leah Andrew, from London, has been charged with infantide after being arrested in Malia on Tuesday. Ms Andrew was rushed to hospital by local residents after giving birth alone in her room.

Disabled Woman Found Dead In Car
A disabled woman found stabbed to death in her car near her home in Harlow, Essex, has been named. Jennifer Macaree was discovered in Hadley Grange on the outskirts of Harlow early on Saturday. Essex Police confirmed she was in the driver's seat of her black Vauxhall Corsa in a parking area near her flat shortly after 3am.

A survey carried out by parenting forum Mumsnet has called for sales reps to be banned from maternity wards in the UK. 82% of those who reponded to the survey said that reps from the promotion company Bounty, should not be given access to new mothers on maternity wards.

Bodies Of Woman And Child Found In Lancashire
Police have said they have found the bodies of a 26-year-old woman and 22-month-old boy at a property on Princess Way, Euxton. It is believed that the woman and child are mother and son. A postmortem examination is due to be carried out later today.
