School For Children As Young As Two

The Education Minister has said that children should have to start school at the age of two to help struggling parents find affordable childcare.

Education Minister Liz Truss has written to each council in England to suggest school nurseries should take in kids and extend their opening hours to help working parents.

Working parents would have to pay for the service however those from poorer backgrounds would receive 15 hours of care free.

According to Sky News by the end of the year 130,000 children from poorer backgrounds will receive 12 hours a week of free care under a plan costing the Government £760m a year.
