Second Inquest Into The Death Of Anne-Marie Ellement Begins

A second inquest has opened into the death of a soldier found hanged at Bulfort Barracks in Wiltshire on 9th October 2011.

Before her death, Anne-Marie Ellement, 30, accused two fellow Royal Military Police Officers of raping her in Germany.

An inquest in March 2012 recorded a verdict of suicide, however the High Court has ordered a new rquest.

Anne-Marie's family were unhappy with the initial inquest and sought a judicial review.

The inquest will last a number of weeks and will look at the effect of the alleged incident on her well being.
