Inquest Rules Mother Died Of 'Cannabis Poisoning'

An inquest into the death of a 31-year-old Dorset woman has ruled that she died of "cannabis poisoning".

A post-mortem examination found that Gemma Moss, from Boscombe, Bournemouth, had moderate to high levels of the drug in her system when she died.

It is thought that she suffered a cardiac arrest triggered by the drug.

Ms Moss died in October last year.

The National Drug Prevention Alliance said that while not unknown internationally, deaths attributed to just cannabis were "rare".
