Syrian Refugees To Be Accepted By The UK
The UK is to offer refuge to the "most vulnerable" affected by the conflict in Syrian.
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has said that priority will be given to girls and woman who have been the victim of, or at risk of, sexual violence, torture victims and elderly and disabled people.
Refugees are expected to be in the hundreds, but it is understood that the government has refused to set a specific target.
The full details of the programme are expected to be revealed by Home Secretary Theresa May later today.

PM Begins Lebanon Visit
The Prime Minister is to visit Lebanon to see at "first hand how UK aid is helping the most vulnerable people who have been driven from their homes in Syria". While making the official visit, Mr Cameron will also announce an additional £100 million to help Syrian refugees, including £40 million to be used in the region surrounding Syria.

David Cameron has met with Syrian refugees at a camp on the Jordanian border. The PM has described the suffering of refugees caught up in the conflict as "horrendous". He said he wanted to bring Syrian president Bashar al-Assad to justice to give the country a brighter future.

Prime Minister David Cameron has outlined his plans to accept more refugees into the UK from Syria. Last week, he confirmed the UK would resettle "thousands" more refugees in the country, but had declined to give a specific number.
