Search Continues For Missing Three-Year-Old
Police in Edinburgh are continuing to search for missing three-year-old Mikaeel Kular.
The boy has not been seen since Wednesday night when he was put to bed at around 21:00 in the flat he lives in with his family at Ferry Gait Crescent.
Police have said that they are becoming "deeply concerned" as more time passes and urged the public to continue to help by searching outbuildings, gardens, garages and sheds.
They added that there was still no evidence of criminality and addressed speculation of a custody dispute between Mikaeel's mother and father, who are no longer together, by saying they had spoken to the estranged father.
Officers are continuing to study CCTV images of the area, but it is understood that nothing significant has yet been found.
The Child Rescue Alert System has also been activated; the system, which is supported by police forces across the UK, would usually be reserved for abduction and kidnap cases.

Lost Boy Search Continues
Police are continuing to search for the disabled son of a woman who was found dead in woodland yesterday. Heather Wardle, 39, went missing with her son James, 22, on Friday after she said she was walking to a friend's house in Redditch. Police say that Ms Wardle's body was found with a ligature around her neck.

Police search continues at raided house
Anti-terrorism are continuing to search a house at the centre of a raid conducted because of an alleged chemical weapon plot. The raid was conducted at a house in Forest Gate in east London on Friday, but so far, no chemical devices have been found.

Police are continuing to search for a mother and her three-year-old son who have been missing since 26 May. Rebecca Minnock went missing with her son, Ethan, the day before she was due to appear in court for a custody hearing with her former partner.

Search For Missing Man Continues In Wales
A search for a missing 27-year-old man is continuing. He was last seen entering a lake in Ceredigion in Wales. It is understood that the man was with family while visiting Llyn Syfydrin, east of Aberystwyth. The alarm was raised at around 4pm on Monday (26 August) after he was spotted entering the water.
