Man Charged With Murder After Punching Woman At Bus Station
A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder after punching a woman in the early hours of Thursday morning in Manchester city centre.
Police have said that a 30-year-old woman died from serious head injuries.
The incident happened at Shudehill bus station at around 01:10 in the morning.
She died a short time later in hospital.
The accused, named as Ryan Ingham and with an address of Sandown Crescent, Blackley, is due to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today (Friday).

Baby Death Mother Named
The British woman charged with causing the death of her newborn baby in a hotel room in Crete has been named. Leah Andrew, from London, has been charged with infantide after being arrested in Malia on Tuesday. Ms Andrew was rushed to hospital by local residents after giving birth alone in her room.
