'Insufficient Evidence' To Charge French Alps Murder Accused
Surrey Police have announced that they do not have enough evidence to charge the man being held in connection with murder of Saad al-Hilli, his wife, his mother-in-law and a cyclist in the French Alps in September 2012.
The man being held is the brother of victim Saad al-Hilli.
54-year-old Zaid al-Hilli was arrested on 24 June on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. Police has said that there is "insufficient evidence to charge him with any criminal offence and no further police action is being taken at this time."
It is understood that the French-led investigation will continue with officers from the Surrey and Sussex continuing to assist.
The victims daugthers, 7-year-old Zainab and 4-year-old Zeena survived the attack on 05 September, 2012.

Bomb Squad Investigate House Of French Alps Shootings
The Surrey home of the family shot and killed in the French Alps last week has been examined by Army bomb disposal experts. In an operation that saw neighbours being evacuated. It is understood that items in a garden shed were examined but police have since said that they were not "hazardous".

French prosecutors investigating the death of four people in the Alps have said a possible family dispute over money is one of their lines of inquiry. The UK family have been named as 50-year-old Saad al-Hilli from Surrey, his wife and mother-in-law. They were shot dead near Lake Annecy on Wednesday.

Shot Belfast Man Recovering
A 35-year-old man has been shot twice in the leg inside a house in Twinbrook in Co Antrim on the outskirts of Belfast. A young girl and a woman were in the house in the Summerhill Drive area when the attack happened on Wednesday night. However, it is not believed that the man's injuries are life threatening.
