TV Weatherman Fred Talbot Rearrested On New Indecent Assault Allegations
Fred Talbot, TV weather presenter and former teacher, has been rearrested by police investigating allegations of historical child sex abuse.
It is understood that the charges are connected to allegations of abuse at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys in the 1970s and 80s.
The 63-year-old was arrested on suspicion of indecent assault on five former pupils, along with another charge in relation to an alleged indecent assault in north east England.
Talbot was on bail for a previous charge of indecent assault when he was rearrested and he remains in police custody.

Five New Charges To Be Brought Against Stuart Hall
Lancashire Police have confirmed that they are investigating fresh allegations made against former broadcaster Stuart Hall. Hall was jailed in July after admitting 14 counts of indecent assault against girls as young as nine between 1967 and 1987. His sentence of 15 months was doubled by the Court of Appeal after it ruled that it was too lenient.
