22-Year-Old Charged With Murder Of Missing Teen

Police investigating the disappearance of 17-year-old Jayden Parkinson have charged a 22-year-old man with her murder.

Thames Valley Police charged Ben Blakeley, of Christchurch Road, Reading, with murder and perverting the course of justice and is due to appear before Oxford Magistrates' Court later today.

A 17-year-old male arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody.

Jayden Parkinson was last seen boarding a train at Oxford railway station to Didcot Parkway on 3 December. She has not yet been found.

Police asked people to "refrain from carrying out their own searches".

They also renewed their appeal for a man seen "struggling" with a suitcase to come forward.

Police want to trace the man, who was seen in Upton at 02:00 GMT on Monday, 9 December.

The same man was seen in nearby Didcot about half an hour later.

Missing Schoolgirl Found On Isle of Wight
Hampshire Police have reported that a missing 15-year-old schoolgirl has been found "safe and well". The teenager from Southhampton was last seen on Saturday on the Isle of Wight. Police are appealing for a man captured on CCTV with a missing 12-year-old girl to contact them. Police said that Evelin Mezei was reported missing by her mother on Monday evening. She was last seen at about 22:30 in Grove Crescent Road, in Stratford, east London.

Suspected London bomber to be returned to UK
A British man wanted for questioning in connection with the failed London bomb attacks on July 21 is to be extradited to the UK within 35 days, an Italian court has ruled. Osman Hussein (27) will appeal the decision to the Italian Supreme court, according to his lawyers.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.
