New Trust To Be Installed At Troubled Free School
Education Minister Lord Nash has confirmed that a new education trust will be brought in to run the Al-Madinah free school in Derby.
The school has been at the centre of concerns since it closed following a damning Ofsted report, which found it to be 'inadequate' in every category.
The current trust in charge of the school, along with the chair of governors, Shazia Parveen, have agreed to resign.
They will be replaced by the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust, which runs several academy schools across the East Midlands.
