Parents Jailed For Death Of Seven-Week-Old Son
A man and woman have been jailed for causing or allowing the death of their seven-week-old baby.
Jacqueline Parker, 21, and Adam Kightley, 24, of Northampton, were sentenced to seven years each over the death of their son Jamie, who died soon after being admitted to hospital on 17 March 2012.
It was found that Jamie Knightley had come to "deliberate traumatic harm", having suffered severe brain injuries and more than 40 fractures.
It is understood that Jacqueline Parker will serve her time in a young offenders institution and Adam Kightley will be sent to prison.

Couple Arrested Over Baby's Death
A Northampton couple have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a seven week-old baby. According to a report by the Beeb the pair, aged 23 and 20, were arrested following the death of Jamie Kightley, of Far Cotton, last month. It is understood that the baby died on March 17 and that the couple were arrested five days later.
