Man Arrested For Impersonating A Police Officer
A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of impersonating a police officer.
According to reports a man had attempted to stop drivers – including one off-duty police officers – for "traffic offences".
It is understood that the man was dressed in plain clothes and driving an unmarked Volvo car.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that they arrested and bailed a 37-year-old on suspicion of impersonating a police officer.
Police have also appealed for witnesses: "We are appealing for anyone who may have been stopped or signalled to stop by an unmarked Volvo matching this description anywhere in the force area to please make contact with us."

Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.
