Fifth Cyclist Killed In London In Nine Days
Five cyclists have been killed in London in just nine days.
According to reports a male cyclist died in hospital in the early hours of the morning after he was hit by a double-decker bus in Whitechapel Road near Aldgate East station, in east London, late on Wednesday.
It follows the death of female cyclist on Tuesday, and three other deaths over the previous nine days.
The latest deaths brings the total for the year so far to 13. Fourteen cyclist were killed in the city in 2012.

Camberwell cyclist stabbed to death
A 39-year-old cyclist has been stabbed to death with what is thought to have been a machete near a shopping centre in south-east London. The man, named as Mark Biggs from the Peabody Estate area, was apparently attacked as he rode past a McDonald's in Denmark Hill on Monday evening.

Female Cyclist Killed Following Collision With Lorry
A female cyclist has become the fourth person to die while riding a bike in the capitol in the last eight days. According to reports the woman, understood to be aged in her mid-20s, collided with a lorry at around 08:45 at Bow Roundabout. The woman, has not be identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two Teens Arrested Following Attack In Islington
Two teenagers have been arrested after a 15-year-old cyclist was murdered in north London on Friday evening (27 February). Alan Cartwright was stabbed in the chest in the attack in Islington. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police released CCTV footage of the attack on Tuesday.
