Npower Announce 10.4% Price Hike
Npower are to increase dual-fuel bills by 10.4%, making them the third major energy company to announce a price hike.
The energy firms price increase is the largest announced to date and will come into effect on December 01.
The dual-fuel increase includes an electricity price rise of 9.3% and a gas price rise of 11.1%, and will affect some 3.1 million customers.
It is understood that the increase will add £137 to the average annual bill.
As previously announced SSE will implement an 8.2% increase from November 15 and British Gas will increase their prices by 9.2% from November 23.

The average annual household fuel bill in the UK is set to increase by around £123 when British gas introduce a 9.2% rise in dual-fuel bills from November 23. The price increase, which includes a gas price rise of 8.4% and an electricity price rise of 10.4%, is expected to affect almost eight million people in the UK.

SSE Announce Price Cuts
