Three Injured In M4 Collision
Three people have been injured in a road crash on the M4 in Wiltshire.
According to reports, a lorry and a car transporter collided on the road between the Swindon East and Hungerford junctions just after midnight on Thursday.
It is understood that a man has been arrested in connection with the collision.
Two of the injured are being treated at Frenchay Hospital near Bristol and the third is at Swindon's Great Western Hospital.
Police say that the road eastbound was closed down along with two lanes of the westbound side.
The Highways Agency said that delays were possible but that road should be open again by mid-morning on Thursday.

Twenty three people required hospital treatment after a tour coach came off the road and overturned on the A83 in Argyll. It is understood there were 51 people on board the bus at the time of the crash, with the injured being treated at three NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde hospitals.

An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a traffic collision in the St Helens area of Liverpool on Sunday where two children were injured, one critically. Officers were called to Prescot Road, near to the junction of Dunriding Lane, at 6pm following reports that two children had been injured.
