Rolf Harris To Face Trial In April

Entertainer Rolf Harris is to face trial on 13 child sex offences in April.

Harris, 83, was excused from attending a preliminary hearing at the Old Bailey on Monday.

A plea hearing at Southwark Crown court has been set for the 14th January.

His trial will begin on 30th April.

April Jones Accused Trial Due To Start
The trial of Mark Bridger, the man accused of the kidnap and murder of five-year-old April Jones, is due to start this week. April Jones has been missing since October 01, she had been playing on her bike outside her family home. A police search for the missing girl is ongoing.

Rolf Harris has appeared before Southwark Crown Court to enter pleas over 12 counts of indecent assaults. The 83-year-old veteran entertainer and TV presenter is accused of assaulting four girls between 1968 and 1986, along with four counts of making indecent images of a child between March and July 2012.
