Recep Cetin Given Whole Life Sentence For Murder Of UK Holidaymakers

Recep Cetin has been jailed for life for the murders of two UK holidaymakers in Turkey.

Marion Graham (54) and Cathy Dinsmore (53), from Co Down in Northern Ireland, were found stabbed to death and buried in shallow graves in a wood some 75 miles outside the holiday resort of Kusadasi.

Cetin, who had been dating Ms Graham's teenage daughter at the time of the killings, was given a whole life sentence for the murder of both women.

Eyup Cetin, Recep's father, was acquitted of the murders.

Recep admitted stabbing the women but had denied the murder charges.

A man has been jailed for life for murdering his wife and three children. Rahan Arshad, 36, had denied four counts of murder, but was found guilty at Manchester Crown Court.

Shot Belfast Man Recovering
A 35-year-old man has been shot twice in the leg inside a house in Twinbrook in Co Antrim on the outskirts of Belfast. A young girl and a woman were in the house in the Summerhill Drive area when the attack happened on Wednesday night. However, it is not believed that the man's injuries are life threatening.

Park Death Boy Died From 'Head Injuries'
A post mortem has found that a teenager beaten to death in a public park died from head injuries. Seventeen-year-old Amar Aslam was found in a West Yorkshire park on Sunday evening by two passers-by. Emergency services were called to Crow Nest Park, Dewsbury at around 7.00pm but Amar was pronounced dead at the scene.
