Five New Charges To Be Brought Against Stuart Hall

Lancashire Police have confirmed that they are investigating fresh allegations made against former broadcaster Stuart Hall.

Hall was jailed in July after admitting 14 counts of indecent assault against girls as young as nine between 1967 and 1987.

His sentence of 15 months was doubled by the Court of Appeal after it ruled that it was too lenient.

It is understood that Hall is now facing five new charges.

Stuart Hall Denies Rape Allegations
BBC broadcaster Stuart Hall has denied allegations of rape and indecent assault, saying the recent sex offence charges against have made his life a "living nightmare". The former It's A Knockout star was speaking outside Preston magistrates court regarding the allegations, which are said to have occurred between 1967 and 1986.

Stuart Hall In Court Charged With Rape
Veteran broadcaster Stuart Hall, 83, has appeared in court charged with 15 offences of rape relating to two girls. He also faces charges of indecent assault. Hall is currently serving a 30-month jail term for sexually abusing 13 victims over a period of 20 years. He appeared at Preston Magistrates' Court to face the charges.

Stuart Hall To Lose OBE
Stuart Hall is to be stripped of his OBE after being jailed for a series of sexual assaults on young girls. In June the 83-year-old former broadcaster pleaded guilty to 14 charges of sexual assault against nine girls aged between nine and 17 between 1967 and 1985. An initial sentence of 15 months was doubled by the Court of Appeal.

Jail Term Doubled For Stuart Hall
The Court of Appeal has doubled the 15-month sentence handed down to former BBC broadcaster Stuart Hall for a series of indecent assaults. Hall's original sentence of 15-months was ruled to be "unduly lenient". The 83-year-old had admitted 14 counts of indecent assault against girls aged 9 to 17, between 1967 and 1985.
