Russia Seize Greenpeace Ship In Arctic

Russian security officers have stormed a Greenpeace ship in the Arctic, holding 30 activists at gunpoint, Greenpeace have claimed.

It is claimed that some 15 men in balaclavas have seized the Arctic Sunrise in the Barents Sea.

According to Greenpeace, six of the 30 activists being held are British.

It is thought the seizure of the boat is connected with an attempt yesterday by Greenpeace activists to board a Russian oil platform.
