Teenager Killed In South London Shooting

Police have reported the death of a teenager in a shooting in south London.

According to reports police responded to reports of an injured man in Coppock Close in Battersea at around 19:51.

A 19-year-old man was treated for a gunshot wound by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, but was pronounced dead a short time later.

The victims family have been informed and police have launched a murder investigation.

Police have appealed for anyone with any information, or anyone who was in the area, to contact them.

Men Arrested After Selfridges Smash-And-Grab Robbery
Two men were arrested following a smash-and-grab robbery at a Selfridges store on Oxford Street, central London around 20:30 on Thursday night. The Guardian has reported witnesses claiming to have seen six men "with guns and motorcycles" carry out the raid on the department store.

Police Hunt Following Teen Murder
Police are appealing for information following a murder in Southwark. Teenager Lyle Tulloch, from Peckham was stabbed at Newall House in Harper Road on Saturday. Lyle, 15, was confirmed dead at the scene despite efforts from emergency services. A post mortem gave the cause of death as stab wounds and haemorrhaging.

Police Find Woman And Children In Refrigerated Lorry
Police in Bristol have discovered a woman and two children in the back of a refrigerated lorry. Avon and Somerset Police said the driver of the lorry reported hearing voices from inside the lorry. Police believe the woman and children were in the back of the lorry for two days before being discovered.

Arrests Follow Edmonton Murder
Police investigating the murder of 15-year old Negus McLean in Edmonton have today made a further two arrests. A 14-year old boy, and a 16-year old boy, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody. Police were called at 7.25pm on Sunday 10 April to reports of a stabbing in Westminster Road, north London.

East London Murder Appeal
Detectives have appealed for information about the murder of a woman in Manor Park. Aliza Ahmed Mirza, 18, a student from Ilford, died on Saturday 3 April. Police had been called to reports of a collapsed female. It is believed she was stabbed while in the Forest View Road area. Miss Mirza was taken to hospital but later pronounced dead.
