MPs To Debate Lobbying Rules For Second Time

Proposed new rules on lobbying are to be debated by MPs amid concerns raised by charities that they could be damaging.

The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) have said that they are concerned the proposals could impact charities trying to speak on political policy.

It is understood that minister have already held talks with the NCVO, but that the voluntary organisation left talks unhappy with the outcome.

The government have said that the new rules are not aimed at constraining charities.
